For over a year, lost souls came to me, desperate to be heard. But their visits weren’t just about telling their stories—they were a distraction. While Candle Face’s shadows stood guard, some lost souls slipped away, taking refuge in my attic.
Now, 31 remain, hidden but not safe. The Master Shadow is searching for them, and time is running out.
This investigation is no longer about the past. It’s about protecting those who escaped and finding those who will shield them from Candle Face and her Master Shadow.
Who will keep them safe?
The Fugitives: Hiding in Plain Sight
Candle Face Chronicles has always evolved as new revelations come to light. It began with two parts: Genesis and The Lost Souls. Now that Genesis has become Isabel: The Forgotten Daughter of La Llorona, and the lost souls no longer visit, a new focus has emerged: The Fugitives.
The lost souls came to me for over a year, desperate to be heard. But I now realize that their presence wasn’t just about telling their stories; they were distracting the Master Shadow so others could escape. Now, those escapees are hiding in plain sight, concealed in scrolls, yet still being hunted.
The Escape and the Hunt
On a cold night, I placed my crystal ball into its box and saw something that changed everything. Inside the glass, I saw over thirty shadowy figures hiding in my attic. When I went upstairs, I found them waiting for me. They weren’t lost souls in need of testimony. They were something else: Fugitives.
They told me their story without words, imprinting emotions and images into my mind. They had used my guest room portal to escape while the lost souls distracted the Master Shadow. The flickering lights I had dismissed? They were caused by the lost souls using the upstairs portal, generating enough energy to distort the electrical field. Every time the lights flickered, it meant another soul was buying time for these thirty-one to escape.
Now, these fugitives are hiding in plain sight. Originally sealed in bottles, I moved them into scrolls for better safety. The parchment represents their souls, while the ink represents their voices. Concealed for now, their energy masked as they wait for their chance at true freedom. But even that may not be enough.
Hiding Them is Not Enough
To protect them, I sealed each one into a scroll, hoping to mask their energy. But even that may not be enough. Paranormal investigators and mediums have warned me that keeping them together makes it easier for the Master Shadow to sense them. If I want them to survive, I must spread them out, placing them with caretakers who’ll protect them until there’s a permanent solution to free them.
For now, they remain hidden, but they cannot stay where they are forever. Soon, I’ll begin sending these scrolls to those willing to protect them, ensuring they remain free from Candle Face and her shadows.
Is This What Candle Face Wanted?
Some paranormal investigators raised another concern. What if Candle Face wanted this to happen? What if scattering the scrolls only spreads her power? If I’m wrong, I could be playing right into her hands. But I believe that if the right people step forward to protect them, we can ensure their freedom instead of their capture.
The Master Shadow Will Return
I know this isn’t over. The Master Shadow has already inspected my home twice, searching for them. I’m sure he’ll return.
Does Candle Face know her victims are missing? Is the Master Shadow searching on his own? If my suspicions are correct, the Master Shadow was responsible for overseeing them. This was his failure, not mine.
Who Will Protect Them?
I don’t have time for half-measures. I need to find caretakers who’ll take in a fugitive, hide them, and shield them from Candle Face until a permanent solution is found.
This is no longer just an investigation. This is a fight for survival.
Will you help keep them safe?
